Sawdust Wood Co. was asked to create a custom set of appetizer boards for the small plate menu and bread service at Charleston's hottest new restaurant, 492. It was a great honor to work with the team including Chef Nate Whiting, Amanee Neirouz and Mark Hendey to create beautiful boards for this fine establishment. And what a thrill it was to watch gorgeous food being plated on our boards! We enjoyed several courses including fresh pasta, salted cod crostini, duck breast, grilled salmon, slow cooked grits, sweet breads and desserts including homemade rocky road ice cream and a baklava ice cream sandwich. Needless to say, we left full of fantastic food and feeling like rock stars for being able to enjoy a great dinner with awesome people. Check out 492 on Upper King Street in Charleston, SC.
